Envest Group, a prominent player in Australia's insurance sector, has announced the launch of TLI Underwriting, a new agency dedicated to providing specialized insurance solutions for heavy motor fleet operators.
This strategic move aims to address the unique challenges faced by larger transport businesses in Australia.

Operating as an authorized representative of Envest's heavy motor specialist underwriter, ATL Insurance Group, TLI Underwriting is set to commence operations at the end of this month. The agency's primary focus will be on delivering tailored insurance products and underwriting expertise specifically designed for the larger fleet segment.

Richard Heilig, CEO of Envest Agencies, highlighted the rationale behind this initiative. While ATL Insurance Group continues to cater to small and medium-sized transport owner-operators, the establishment of TLI Underwriting allows Envest to broaden its reach and better serve the needs of larger fleet operators with specialized products and services.

Leading TLI Underwriting is Pat Miller, formerly the CEO of PSC's Australian and UK broking operations, who will serve as Managing Director. Luke Sellars, previously the Queensland Manager at GT Insurance, has been appointed as Head of Underwriting. Miller emphasized the existing gap in the market for dedicated service and support to brokers working with heavy motor fleet operators. TLI Underwriting aims to fill this void by offering comprehensive insurance programs that deliver real value to fleet businesses.

Envest Group, part of the UK-based Ardonagh Group, is one of Australia's largest privately owned insurance and financial services distribution groups, encompassing over 50 brands, including Aviso, PSC, and Resilium. The launch of TLI Underwriting signifies Envest's commitment to enhancing its service offerings and addressing the evolving needs of the transport and logistics industry.

In summary, the introduction of TLI Underwriting by Envest Group marks a significant development in the Australian insurance landscape, providing large fleet operators with specialized solutions to manage their unique risks effectively.
